A Successful WYRLC Summer Convention
September 30, 2008
The 2008 Wyoming Republican Liberty Caucus summer convention that was held on August 3 in Lander was a smashing success. Perry Marple, Chairman of the Fremont County Republican Party, gave a warm welcome and introduction to the 25 liberty-loving folks in attendance. Six excellent presentations were given by Shepard Humphries, Shane Scheid, Susan Gore, Charles Curley, State Senator Cale Case and Dennis Brossman. The topics varied from very philosophical to the vagaries of politics in the real world.
More important that the convention content was the camaraderie had by all - there's nothing better than being in a room filled with others who are well versed in freedom - from economics to money to law.
During the business meeting, seven directors were elected to a two year term to serve on the WYRLC board of directors. The directors are Shepard Humphries, Warren Kruse, Joel Otto, Richard Hodges, Susan Gore, Matt Szmurlo and Don Wills. Shepard Humphries was elected chairman, Warren Kruse was elected secretary and Don Wills was elected treasurer
